Job description

As a Line lead his role, you are responsible for the performance of a number of manual packaging lines. It is your responsibility to organize the teams to meet agreed targets and to communicate progress.You are the connection between the shop floor team and manufacturing management;

  • You ensure process flows are within full Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance;
  • You create an environment of safe behavior and Right First Time mindset;
  • As Line Lead, you keep the helicopter view on the overall performance of your teams;
  • You take appropriate action(s) in case of escalated issues;
  • You support robust Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis in a cross-functional team (Manufacturing/Quality/Maintenance & Engineering), and further escalate in case of need;
  • You engage your team in our lean transformation journey and encourage continuous improvement;
  • Working with a focused and informal team, the pleasant working conditions and good employment conditions including bonus & shares, is what motivates our employees;
  • Flexibility is key; manufacturing is working in three shifts: 06:30 - 15:00/14:30 - 23:00/22:30 - 07:00
  • You have minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar (supervisory) role. Preferably in a regulated, manufacturing environment.
  • You are able to engage, motivate, inspire and coach people.
  • You are performance driven, have a natural drive to improve and act as a role model for your team.
  • You are a natural leader, are able to drive decisions and have experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • You have an education MBO level 4 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of office- and ERP systems is required in our manufacturing environment.
  • You are proficient in English and Dutch (oral, reading and writing).

In the Netherlands, our client is based in the Province North-Brabant. Here medicines are labelled, assembled, packed and distributed to various countries worldwide. At the site, more than 900 people are working every day on the manufacturing and distribution process.
